| ffifinish_cleaning | Upholstery custom finish cleaning tips- The silver ion technology in our FairfieldShield+ finish topcoat means that it deters the growth of bacteria. Clorox wipes can be use cleaned areas clean and remove soiled areas on the finish surface, using the wipe on, wipe off method. First, wipe on the surface with a Clorox wipe. Then immediately wipe off with a damp cloth. Agents with less than 5% ammonium chloride and agens with sodium chloride or sodium chlorite may be used to clean the finish surface. After cleaning the finish surface with one of these three agents, we strongly suggest that the finish surface be cleaned with warm, clear water and dried with a soft cloth. Casegood finish cleaning tips- household polishes that are wax free and silicone free are recommended (we recommend Guardsman Furniture Polish). Anything outside of recommended household polishes or a mild soap solution and then drying the surface with a soft cotton cloth may damage the finish. Always wipe in the direction of the wood grain. |
